This is, arguably, the greatest baseball set ever made. Yet, it's only the second card I've ever acquired from the set. How can that be possible? Well, for the most part, I don't go to shows anymore. The fact that there aren't very many good ones in the Atlanta area anymore is a big part of it. Well, I assume there aren't very many good ones. There's three multi-dealer hotel shows every month. I have no idea whether they are any good or not, but I've heard they don't have vintage bargain boxes, which is sort of the whole point of having a show.
One show I would love to attend, just once, is the National. One year, I'd like to save up a few thousand dollars, go to the National, and blow it all on great vintage cards. While I'm dreaming, I'd also like a pony.
